Sarah’s main areas of practice include corporate commercial, mergers and acquisitions, foreign direct investments, regulatory compliance, private equity and funds, general legal advisory and personal data protection. She assists in various corporate matters by drafting and reviewing agreements and other transaction documents, advising clients on their legal queries, conducting due diligence exercises, and handling closing and post-closing matters for M&A and private equity transactions. She assists on private client and trust advisory work involving trust. She regularly advises both local and international clients in her practice areas.
Professional and industry experience
Sarah joined Zaid Ibrahim & Co. as a Trainee Associate in 2022 and was subsequently retained as an Associate upon completion of her pupillage. Prior to joining Zaid Ibrahim & Co., she worked in an in-house legal role for 2 years. She also has in-house corporate experience with a government statutory body and a licensed trustee company. Earlier this year, she completed a secondment at Malaysia’s first licensed digital bank.
