Andreanna’s core practice is in equity capital market transactions involving capital raising exercises on Bursa Securities and other stock exchanges as well as capital markets and securities regulation.

She also has considerable experience in a wide range of corporate and commercial matters including reorganisation and restructuring of public listed corporations and private corporations involving scheme of arrangement, capital reduction and repayment, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint venture and shareholder arrangements, foreign investments into Malaysia, corporate finance, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and general corporate advisory.

Andreanna commenced her pupillage with Zaid Ibrahim & Co. in 2014. She was retained as an Associate in the Corporate Finance and Securities practice group in 2015 where she worked on various corporate and commercial matters.

In 2018, she was awarded the British Chevening Scholarship to pursue her LLM in Queen Mary University of London with focus on Green Financing. During her LLM, Andreanna’s research on the acceleration of Green Financing across ASEAN was recognized by the university and her thesis was awarded a high distinction.

Upon the completion of her LLM in 2019, Andreanna returned to the firm as a Senior Associate. In January 2022, she was promoted to Partner in the Corporate Finance & Securities practice group at Zaid Ibrahim & Co.’s main office in Kuala Lumpur.

Andreanna is keen to continue to steer the conversation on Green Financing initiatives across Malaysian and ASEAN.
