Aidah Mohamed

Aidah is a Partner with Zaid Ibrahim & Co.’s litigation practice group in Johor Bahru. She has appeared before the various Courts in Malaysia representing clients on matters related to motor insurance. At the same time, she also has experience in general litigation matters on behalf of large corporate clients.

She has vast experience in handling complex matters for motor insurance claims, cases involving fraud, interveners and declaration proceedings from the lower Court up to Court of Appeal.

Aidah was call to the Malaysian Bar in 2007 after completing her pupillage at a Malaysian law firm. She was retained at the firm as a Legal Assistant and appointed as Partner in 2012. In August 2017, Aidah joined Zaid Ibrahim & Co. as a Senior Associate and was subsequently promoted to Partner in January 2020.

Key Engagement

• Advise insurance company on the third party claims,  fraudulent claims and denial of collisions, subrogation claims and all related matters under the Road Transport Act.
• Advise insurance companies in non-motor insurance policy matters related to public policy, fire insurance policy, contractors all risk policy and theft.
• Advise Tenaga Nasional Berhad on debt recovery, civil actions and contractual disputes.
