Hun Yin is currently heading the Litigation practice area in the Kota Bharu branch. She advises clients on a wide range of legal issues arising from banking, loan recoveries, hire purchase, industrial leasing and other general commercial and property related transactions.

She has experience in handling civil cases involving litigation and dispute resolution and has advised clients on many aspects of civil litigation and procedures relating to obtaining order for sale, summary judgement, debt collection, divorce, landlord-tenant disputes, civil appeal to the superior courts and stay of proceeding. She advises clients on disputes arising from taxation, probate, winding up, bankruptcy proceedings and transfer of proceeding.

Hun Yin has advised on interlocutory proceedings including attachment of property before judgement, and striking out proceedings. She also advised on the general dispute resolution matters relating to civil claims, bankruptcy matters, property and commercial disputes, hire purchase, execution of judgements, appeals to the court of appeal and other pecuniary claim.

She is the legal adviser to the Chinese community in Pasir Mas, Kelantan, Malaysia. She was the speaker on “Law Degree and Related Law Issues” at “Projek Seminar and Motivasi Belia Kelantan” in 1996.

Her vast experience in property law includes:

  • Advising on matters pertaining to property development and conveyancing matters including bungalow lots and construction of properties on lots, commercial properties and home ownership campaigns.
  • Banking and finance matters relating to financing purchase of properties, bridging finance for property development and building construction, financing of shares, financing/refinancing for corporate restructuring as well as restructuring of existing facilities.
  • Representing a wide range of major banks based in Malaysia on real estate transactions.
  • Advising on the matter involves the Kelantan’s Land Law and related issues.
